Lucky Baloyi, famously known as Mr Deluxe has a musical journey dating back to 2003, he has showcased across the Pretoria club scene, dabbled in Johannesburg and as far-reaching the dance floors in Botswana and Swaziland respectively. Mr Deluxe admits to his obsession with House Music.

His style is characterized by bouncy dub, deep house groove, and pulsating minimal and deep house tech. His sets are curated to transcend his audience into a state of absolute euphoria.

In 2014, He was signed to “Do It Now Recordings and affiliated with DeepStitched” He stands to be the only artist in the label to release three successful album compilations.

Both of which were favourably received by his peers and enthusiasts of deep, soulful house music. Tailored for the Soul Vol. l was released in 2015 and Vol. ll in 2017. Mr Deluxe is making waves as he is the first artist at ‘Do it Now Recordings’ to release a 3rd debut album in 2021 titled Tailored for the Soul Selected by Mr Deluxe.

Mr Deluxe’s mission is to honour those who pioneered the DJ culture and house music and safeguard a good avenue for the forthcoming generation.
